For Credit Unions

Independent testing your board and examiner can rely on.

Penetration testing, Microsoft 365 security, and exam readiness built for credit unions under $250M. Fixed fees, remote-first, and sized for a small IT team or an outsourced one.

When credit unions bring us in

The annual pen test

It's in the budget and your examiner expects it.

The exam on the calendar

NCUA's information security exam is coming and prior findings are still open.

The vendor conflict

The IT provider that built your network shouldn't be the one grading it.

The bad day

Something got through and you need an incident commander now.

Services

Annual penetration test

External, internal, WiFi, Microsoft 365/cloud, and social engineering tests. An executive summary for the board and supervisory committee, technical findings mapped to FFIEC and NCUA expectations, and an included retest.

Microsoft 365 / Entra security review

Conditional Access, MFA, email and business email compromise protections, admin-role cleanup, and security baselines, with written findings. Optional move from on-premises Active Directory to Entra ID and Intune.

Exam and audit readiness

NCUA information security exam preparation, GLBA and Part 748 risk assessment support, incident response plan review and tabletop exercise, and remediation of prior findings.

Incident response

A technical lead if you are breached, covering containment, recovery, and the facts you need for NCUA's 72-hour cyber incident report. On retainer or per incident.

Why an independent tester

Independent of your IT vendor

I don't sell managed services, hardware, or licenses.

Built for small credit unions

Fixed fees and plain-language reports for a CEO, a supervisory committee, and a one- or two-person IT team.

Exam-ready output

Findings written so you can hand them to your examiner and track remediation to closure.

Hands-on tester

I do the testing myself. No hand-off to junior staff and no scan-only reports.

Proof

  • About three years as the outsourced IT and security partner for a federally insured credit union, including internal, external, and Microsoft 365 penetration tests.
  • Annual FFIEC-domain IT audits for regional financial institutions.
  • Technical lead and incident commander on customer breach engagements.

"I wholeheartedly recommend Redshift Cybersecurity LLC to any entity in need of expert penetration testing services. Your team's proficiency, dependability, and dedication to excellence are what make you an invaluable partner in the ongoing battle against cyber threats."
